Chancellor Julio Frenk shared this message with the Bruin community.
Dear Bruin Community:
Bruin Day is here, and we look forward to welcoming newly admitted students and their families to campus. Tomorrow, April 11, we will host Bruin Day for first-years, and on May 16, we will welcome transfers.
The Bruin spirit brings this university to life, and this will be our chance to share that feeling with the newest members of our community. For most of these students and their families, this will be their first experience of UCLA since receiving their acceptance letters — and our first opportunity to celebrate all their hard work and show them everything UCLA has to offer.
On both days, admitted students and their families will connect with faculty, staff and students, explore our academic programs and discover the many opportunities that await them here. These moments of connection are what make UCLA so special — a place of excellence, belonging and shared purpose.
Thank you for all you do to support our students and for helping to make Bruin Day so meaningful.
We are One UCLA.
Julio Frenk
