UCLA Health is No. 1

Chancellor Frenk shared a message with the Bruin community.

Dear Bruin Community:

I am writing to share the uplifting news that UCLA Health is ranked the No. 1 health system in both California and Los Angeles in this year’s U.S. News & World Report rankings of the nation’s best hospitals. Even more impressively, UCLA Health earned a place on the publication’s Best Hospitals Honor Roll for the 36th consecutive year. Only a small number of hospitals and health systems nationwide achieve this level of recognition.

I want to congratulate everyone at UCLA Health. Today’s news reflects the exceptional dedication and expertise of our health care professionals, researchers and staff. Every day, they bring care and compassion to our community. Their work saves and improves lives throughout our region.

This ranking is more than just a number on paper. It shows in very real ways how UCLA Health is leaning into and lifting up our university’s guiding principles: to be connective, impactful and exemplary in all that we do.

We are One UCLA.
