Chancellor Block chairs Association of Pacific Rim Universities meeting
Chancellor Block represented UCLA in Sydney, Australia at the 21st annual presidents’ meeting of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities. He currently serves as chair of the APRU board of directors.
APRU brings together 43 universities from the Pacific Rim region to exchange ideas and collaborate on solutions to the challenges of the 21st century.
This year’s meeting in Sydney was hosted by the University of New South Wales and President and Vice-Chancellor Ian Jacobs. Above, Chancellor Block presents a gift to President Jacobs.
